In the emerald sea of Sardinia there is always the wind in the stern for lovers of sailing, kite and windsurfing. Not only sailors: when the Mistral sweeps the Mediterranean blows on the west coast, the fascinating coasts are transformed into a must for lovers of surf board, with fast waves and tubing that can reach up to four meters in Capo Mannu , at the northern end of the Sinis peninsula.
From the surfing point of view, it was discovered in the late '80s by some surfers and windsurfers in the area and, still today, represents in Europe one of the most popular destinations for the practice of this sport. For some years it has become one of the reference points in Italy for kitesurfing on the waves. For some years now, it has hosted the "Capo del Capo", a national level surfing competition.
